We have a close, co-operative working partnership with the British Nuclear Group Sellafield Limited following the award of a multi-services contract at their 988 acre site in Cumbria. There are approximately 1200 buildings on the site which employs around 12,000 staff.
The facilities maintenance of the site is split into two packages, one of which is serviced by MITIE, who provide a wide range of hard and soft services. There are around 450 people delivering the services on site. The services our engineering team provides include asset care, M&E maintenance and repair, building fabric maintenance and site wide civil engineering. Other parts of the MITIE team provide cleaning, security, landscaping, mail room services and document control.
The site holds a Nuclear License so it is crucial that we fully adhere to BNGSL’s specific policies and procedures.
